Carp On The Feed

By Alan Davies • September 22nd, 2017

Paul Burton fished a session on McGregor Lake in poor weather conditions, but was rewarded with 4 double figure carp, the largest just over 13lb.

Mick Day returned to fishing McGregor Lake after a year’s absence and hit the ground running. In his last three visits, he has caught two carp on each occasion with the best weighing 13lb 12oz, 18lb 10oz and 16lb 4oz. Robert Livock has struggled to catch any number of carp in recent visits although he did land a 16lb mirror. However, this week he fished on the windward side of the lake where he caught five carp during a day session with fish ranging from 7-11lbs.

Hi, I am new to the club this year, can I make a suggestion. When news articles of catches at our waters are published. Can our members share tactics and methods of how these fish were caught. As this would help newer members understand how to fish our waters, and perhaps a forum where we can all share our methods. H
