The Association controls the exclusive fishing rights to a number of
stretches of the rivers Ouse and Ivel in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire
and Buckinghamshire and still waters in Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire.
These waters hold specimen fish of many species and arguably provide some
of the best specimen coarse fishing available in the area at affordable
prices.

Lake
Principal big fish water holding a large head of Carp to well over
30lbs and specimen fish of other species too. |

A newly acquired stretch of the upper Ouse holding double figure
Barbel, Carp to over 20lbs and many other species. |

Sandy
Lakes
New Road Lake - Sandy: This former trout fishery
is extremely rich water and continues to be developed as specimen
big fish water. Carp introduced into the lake have already grown
at an astonishing rate of nearly 10lbs a year. Principal species
present are mirror and common carp to 30lbs, bream to over 12lbs,
pike to mid-twenties, big eels, roach, rudd and perch
McGregor Lake - Sandy: The lake still receives
waste water from nearby gravel workings and consequently the water
is permanently coloured. The lake has been heavily stocked with
small carp but specimens to well over 20lbs are present. The lake
has a good head of tench to 9lbs, bream to 12lbs, hybrids, perch
to 4lbs, big eels, double-figure pike, roach, rudd, golden rudd
and orfe.

Ouse
Farm, Church Meadow & Sawmills Pool
Recently stocked with 400 Barbel these fast flowing stretches provide
excellent sport including Chub to over 5lbs and Perch to over 4lbs. |

Riddy (including Sandy Mill Pool & Dead River)
Excellent winter fishing with many chub exceeding 5lbs, Roach plentiful
too. Also present, are Perch to over 3lbs, Carp, Pike & Barbel. |

Romper
This stretch of the Ivel holds Chub to over 5lbs and the odd Carp
to over 20lbs. |

Brampton
Lower Ouse fishing at its best with catches of Bream to 100lbs
possible plus many other species present. |

The
Drift
Roach and Bream predominate on this slow moving stretch of the
middle Ouse but big Carp and specimen Chub are also present. |

Langford
Mill & Ivel Navigation
Predominantly a winter water holding a good head of Roach to 2lbs
and specimen Chub. |

Campers
Meadow
Chub are the main species on this little fished stretch but many
other species can be caught. |

A mixed fishery with Roach and Perch present with the chance of
big Chub and Carp. |

Protection Association Waters (IPA)
Several different stretches with Barbel to 16lbs and Chub to over
6lbs regularly caught. |
