Lee lands another beauty!

It seems that once anglers find the carp at Gingerbread Lake they just keep catching and Lee Webb supports this observation. Shortly after breaking his p.b. with a 30lb plus mirror Lee was back at the lake and fishing in the same swim. This time he went on catch a super 25lb 11oz common carp using a chod rig fished close to the margins. Mick Day spent a day fishing in ‘the Fridge’ swim and he confirmed just how cold it was. However, a single take on popped-up piece of artificial corn produced a 6lb 3oz bream for him, his best ever bream as it happens.

Despite the cooling conditions, anglers fishing at McGregor Lake continued to enjoy sport from skimmers and carp. Most carp were falling to boilies whereas the bream were being caught on float tackle on both maggots and pellet.
