A big ‘Thank you’ is due to Lewis Feneley who has constructed a new bridge over the ditch at the mill end of High Romper. The bridge will allow access to the inner bank of the River Ivel. However, much of this bank has become overgrown with blackthorn and brambles so a working party is still needed to fully open up this stretch once again for fishing.
A consignment of around 50 sizeable king carp are due to be stocked into Gingerbread Lake in the coming weeks to further boost stocks and Grace Lake at Sandy will receive around 300 more large crucian carp.
