New bridge at High Romper

By Anthony Pogmore • January 19th, 2015

A big ‘Thank you’ is due to Lewis Feneley who has constructed a new bridge over the ditch at the mill end of High Romper. The bridge will allow access to the inner bank of the River Ivel. However, much of this bank has become overgrown with blackthorn and brambles so a working party is still needed to fully open up this stretch once again for fishing.

There have been No reports of any catches received from members fishing Association waters over the past week.

Over the next two weeks all night permit holders should receive their renewal invitations for the coming season so, if you do not receive one, please contact the membership secretary without delay. The deadline for renewal will again be the end of April after which time persons on the waiting list will be offered any unfilled spaces.
