Robert Livock has caught carp throughout the week at McGregor Lake banking nine fish in three visits. His fish were commons weighing 8lb, 10lb 2oz and mirrors of 8lb, three at 11lb 8oz, 12lb 8oz, 13lb and 14lb 8oz.
Robert Livock found in hard going in high pressure conditions but still managed to catch two carp, mirrors of 14lb 8oz and 9lbs.
Members are reminded that McGregor Lake has been reserved for an Over 60s match on Wednesday, the 24th of April, but both Swan and Grace Lakes will be available to members on the day.
Anglers returning to another of BHAA’s big fish venues, Swan Lake, have also been getting amongst the carp. The largest reported capture was of a 32lb mirror carp caught by Barry Gyles. Callum Sharp recently landed a pristine 26lb common carp from the same venue.
