Multiple Catches from Gingerbread

The carp at Gingerbread have been bunching up in the last week, meaning that if they can be found multiple catches are possible, which is what happened to Trevor O’Dell and Simon Izzard who had catches of 7 carp and 5 carp respectively in recent sessions, with Simon’s catch including a couple of 30’s. Elsewhere, Tim Bryant targeted the Crucian Carp in Grace Lake and was rewarded with a specimen of 2lb 5oz (See picture below). The club are always keen to here of any catches from Grace Lake, especially of any of the elusive Crucians.

Anthony Pogmore fished a short session on Swan Lake targeting the carp, but it was a bream of 7lb which picked up his margin fished boilie.

McGregor Lake carp were the target for Robert Livock and was rewarded with 3 in a short day session, weighing 13lb 4oz, 11lbs and 9lbs

The track at Sandy has recently been repaired by the landowner with all the large potholes filled in which some members have taken as an excuse to drive at excessive speed down the track which will cause all of the repair work to be undone. Members are reminded that vehicles should be driven slowly around all of the clubs lakes.

Advanced warning is given to members that Gingerbread Lake will be shut from Friday 21st until Monday 24th July for health and safety reasons to allow work to be completed around the lake, requiring the use of heavy machinery
