End of Season Chub

By Alan Davies • March 11th, 2018

Chris Tribe targeted the river Ivel recently, using bread and managed a 5lb chub to bread. Chris reports that the river has been hard going this winter, with a roving approach needed to find the fish.

Elsewhere anglers have returned to the lakes following the recent freeze, although no confirmed catches have been reported an angler did report that several carp had been caught from the bottom end of Gingerbread.

Night permit holders should have received reminders for joining the 2018/19 season by now and are reminded that payments should be returned to Dave Hallybone by the end of April to guarantee their place, after this date remaining places shall be offered to those on the waiting list.
