Still Feeding Despite the Weather

Despite the changeable weather during October, carp continue to be caught from the clubs lakes.

Craig Brooks fished Gingerbread during the week and had a 25lb Mirror Carp.

Swan Lake continues with its recent run of 30lber’s, Julian Peacock had both a Mirror Carp and Common Carp, both of which weighed 32lb. Karl Franklin had a 20.10 Common form Swan Lake.

Regular anglers on McGregor continued to find the carp feeding, Robert Livock reported a 17lb Mirror Carp, Mick Day had a 15.04 Fully Scaled Mirror, while Karl Franklin after his 20lb Common from Swan, had 9lb and 11lb Mirrors.

Keith Johnson, fished the rivers and despite finding many areas over grown, caught a decent chub from the Ivel at Tempsford

The club have to report that two anglers were recently caught by a bailiff, fishing well outside of the permitted hours for ‘Day Anglers’ as a result of this both anglers had their memberships removed for the remainder of the season
