Night Fishing

In line with the recent statement from the Angling Trust, night fishing can resume on Gingerbread, Swan and McGregor Lake from Monday 29th March, with Monday being the first permitted night, NOT from midnight on Sunday. While allowing night fishing to recommence, the statement also encourages people not to travel outside of their local area and should avoid travelling further than is reasonably necessary to take part in their activity. The board, while not imposing a travel distance limit, request that members use their common sense, in regards to travel distance.

We are still in this pandemic, so the now usual requirements for social distancing, sanitising etc. still apply.

Until June 15th, ‘day’ anglers will still be permitted to fish from dawn to dusk in line with the previous announcement. After the 15th June, the ‘day’ fishing times will be as published in the club book
